All the photographs on this site are for information purposes only and due to the handmade nature of each piece of jewellery, small differences will occur.

Each item of jewellery is handmade and hand polished which means there will always be an organic feel to the piece. We do not try to create a factory ‘mass produced’ effect with the jewellery. There may be some markings on the back or slight imperfections on the surface which make your charm 100% unique.

Please also take into consideration that jewellery items are made from 99.9% Pure Fine Silver which is not as hard wearing as Sterling Silver (sterling silver is not pure, it contains metals other than silver to strengthen it). With this in mind we recommend taking as much care with the item as possible and to avoid losing any of the detail. Due to the nature of the piece we are unable to take responsibility for items that are damaged due to eventual wear and tear.  Care instructions will be provided with your jewellery.

Please ensure you complete details carefully and clearly especially spellings of names. We cannot be held responsible for any errors on items of jewellery resulting from incorrect details given.

Please note that children under six months old and sometimes older may not have defined fingerprints. It is entirely up to you at what age you choose to take a fingerprint impression for a young child. Many find that any impression is unique and special leading them to go ahead with fingerprint jewellery when the child is very young.

Taking and returning your prints

On receipt of your online order we will post out a print kit and confirmation of your order details. Please double check the order details and let us know of any incorrect spellings etc. with the return of your prints.

Full instructions for taking prints are included, The Beautiful Gift Company cannot accept responsibility for poor quality prints. If you are unhappy with your prints, please contact us and an additional print kit will be sent to you at a cost of £5.

It is up to you to check that you are happy with the prints before returning them.  If we have any concerns about their suitability and how it will transfer to silver we will contact you to discuss before going ahead with making the jewellery item.

We ask that you return your prints within two weeks of placing your order so we can balance our workload and display accurate lead times. However, we realise that this isn’t always possible. Please return your print as soon as possible, so we can fulfil your order, manage stock and our workload. Failure to return prints within 6 months from ordering may result in your order being cancelled and without refund.

We endeavour to keep the prints you return to us on file for up to 5 years in case you want to order anything new in the future. If you do not want us to do this please notify us by email at info@thebeautfiulgiftcompany.co.uk.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order within a period of 14 days from the order being placed. This does not apply if we have already started making your custom order. If at the point of cancellation, no print kit(s) has been sent out then you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel your order after the print kit(s) has been posted or used then a charge will incur for the costs of the kit(s) and delivery. If you have not yet used the kit(s), you can return this in full to us for a full refund but at your own expense.

Orders and delivery

Within 24 hours of your order being placed we will send you an email confirming your order.

Your print kit(s) will usually be sent within 2 working days of your order being placed.

It will take up to 28 days to complete your order on receipt of the print(s), often it will be sooner but we do not offer any guarantees.

Within 24 hours of your order being dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have not received your parcel within 7 working days from dispatch, please contact us and we will provide the tracking information for the parcel. If your parcel has not arrived within 14 days, please contact your local sorting office to check that it isn’t awaiting collection (even if a card has not been left) as we cannot be held responsible for delivery failure. If your parcel is returned to us as undelivered, a delivery charge of £6.95 will be charged to repost. Please note that in the unlikely event of a missing parcel, we cannot offer a re-make or refund until the parcel has been officially classed as missing by the carrier which is currently 30 days from posting.

All goods are considered delivered to the customer on receipt of a signature provide by the carrier. The Beautiful Gift Company will not be responsible for any dispute over the signature by the carrier and the customer. All deliveries will require a signature upon delivery.

Returns policy

We cannot accept returns on items unless they are damaged or faulty on delivery. As all items are handmade and personalised we cannot accept returns on any other basis. If you need to return an item please contact us within seven days of receipt of the item for details of how to return an item.
